Capitol Craftsman & Romance Jewelers was founded in 1979. Our family owned business provides a unique destination for you where you will find truly unique and individual jewelry and gifts for any occasion.

At The Capitol Craftsman, our store philosophy is to provide handcrafted products made in America that reflect quality and workmanship at competitive prices. The Romance Jewelers section of our store has a fine collection of jewelry which includes the brilliance of diamonds, the sparkle of earrings, rings, necklaces pins and bracelets in 14k yellow & white gold, as well as platinum.

Capitol Craftsman offers a mix of 100% American handcrafted products including pottery, glassware, leather goods, brass, pewter, desk and wall clocks, fine pens and pencils, kaleidoscopes, wooden clipboards and more. Our distinctive gifts are not usually available in traditional jewelry stores and gifts shops or mall stores.

We offer cheerful, individualized service which includes product knowledge, and an understanding of the materials and techniques used to create a product. We also offer background information about craftspeople who design the pieces, many of whom are long time friends.
